Dr. Jianhua Tong, Clemson University (USA) "Laser 3D Printing of Highly Compacted Protonic Ceramic Electrochemical Cells"
Dr. Jianhua “Joshua” earned his Ph.D. from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Science at 2002. After graduation, he worked at as researcher, JSPS fellow, and postdoc scholar for about six years in Japan and the USA at some prestigious institutions of Research Institute of Innovative Technology for the Earth, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, University of Cincinnati, and California Institute of Technology. After that, Dr. Tong worked as a research faculty for about seven years at Colorado School of Mines. Now, Dr. Tong is working as an associate professor in the Material Science and Engineering Department at Clemson University. His research field is sustainable clean energy based on solid state ionic materials, devices, and advanced manufacturing. He has published more than 70 peer-reviewed technical papers and 5 book chapters and filed 15 patents. His research papers have been cited >4300 times, and his H-index is >32.
